Born Dreaming Ltd. is a studio run by freelance illustrator and designer Tim Jay. Based in North Bristol, just a couple of miles from the M4 and M5 interchange, Born Dreaming Ltd. is ideally located to serve businesses in the South West. However in this age of remote connectivity they often work with clients across the UK and beyond.

While Tim runs the studio single handed he has a wealth of connections within the creative industry which he can call on as and when required to extend his capacity to that of a larger studio, whilst maintaining freelance rates.

The studio is equipped to deal with digital proofing up to A3, small-scale colour scanning, digital photography and photo-enhancement and retouching in house. We also have vinyl cutting machinery to produce vinyl cut designs for vehicle or shop front sign writing - a relatively new area of the business.

Operating both Mac and PC, and running all of the industry standard applications Born Dreaming Ltd. can provide digital artwork to the clients’ specification, and also with good trade connections they can offer services above and beyond their physical boundaries.

Print is a good example of this, where they can pass on trade discounts
and build competitive print prices into a complete design job.
